Product Import

Import products from China and India for your shop in Nepal

Product Import is how sellers in Nepal stock their Adyvance shop. Through Adyvance's Import Marketplace you buy wholesale stock from India and China, pay a deposit and the rest on arrival, and follow each order until it reaches you. You can also bring your own product list in from a spreadsheet, checked row by row.

Product Import at a glance

  • Adyvance's Import Marketplace offers wholesale stock from India and China to sellers in Nepal, with bulk prices and a minimum quantity shown on every product.
  • Import Marketplace orders are paid in two parts: a deposit to confirm the order, and the rest when the goods arrive in Nepal.
  • Every Import Marketplace order shows its stage: placed, confirmed, ordered from the supplier, shipped, at customs, arrived in Nepal and delivered.
  • A custom sourcing request on Adyvance takes up to six photos, a quantity and an optional target price, and Adyvance replies with a quote for the price, deposit and delivery days.
  • Add to my products turns imported stock that has reached Nepal into a draft product in the seller's Adyvance shop, with its photo, cost and stock count.
  • Adyvance's spreadsheet import checks every row of a product file before anything is saved, and returns only the rows with a problem as a file to fix.

How Product Import works

  1. 1

    Find or request the product

Browse the Import Marketplace catalogue by category, price or minimum quantity. Can't find it? Send a custom request with photos of what you want from India or China.

  2. 2

Order, make an offer or ask for a price

Order at the listed price, offer your own price on a negotiable product, or ask for a price where none is listed. For a custom request, Adyvance sends you a quote.

  3. 3

    Pay the deposit

Pay from your Adyvance Wallet, or pay Adyvance and upload the receipt. Once the deposit is confirmed, Adyvance buys the stock from the supplier.

  4. 4

    Follow it to Nepal

Watch the order move from ordered to shipped, customs and arrived in Nepal, with every payment in its history. Pay the rest when it arrives.

  5. 5

    Add it to your shop

Click Add to my products. Adyvance creates a draft product with the photo, cost and stock, you set your selling price, and you publish it when it's ready.

What you can do with Product Import

Wholesale catalogue

Products bought in India or China, with the price per piece, bulk prices at larger quantities, the minimum order and whether stock is ready or bought to order.

Negotiable offers

On products marked Negotiable, offer your price. Adyvance accepts, declines or counters, and you can counter back until you agree.

Ask for a price

Where a product shows Price on request, send the quantity and the price you want to pay. Adyvance replies with its price, then you order.

Custom sourcing requests

Send up to six photos, the quantity, a target price and a reference link. Adyvance looks for a supplier in India or China and quotes the price, deposit and days.

Deposit now, the rest on arrival

Each order shows the deposit due now and the amount due on arrival. Pay from your Adyvance Wallet and it is confirmed at once.

Order stages until it arrives

A stage bar and a history for every import order: confirmed, ordered from the supplier, shipped, at customs, arrived in Nepal and delivered.

Add to my products

One click creates a draft product with the photo, name, cost and stock, and shows your margin as you set the selling price.

Spreadsheet import

Bring products with their sizes and colours, stock counts or customers in from a CSV file. Columns Adyvance recognises are matched for you.

Checked before importing

A dry run checks every row and lists each problem by row and field. Rows with a problem come back as a file, and a re-run skips rows already imported.

Made for selling in Nepal

Stock from India and China, delivered in Nepal

The Import Marketplace buys from India and China, and you tell Adyvance the contact name, phone, address and district in Nepal to deliver to.

Cash flow that suits a small shop

You pay a deposit to start and the rest only when the goods reach Nepal, so your money is not tied up for the whole journey.

One balance in rupees

The Adyvance Wallet pays import deposits and balances, and the same balance pays for SMS, ads and your plan.

Customers known by their phone

A customer spreadsheet is matched by mobile number, the way shops in Nepal know their buyers. A number that is already a customer is skipped, never overwritten.

Who Product Import is for

A clothing and accessories shop

Orders bags and sunglasses in bulk from the catalogue, pays the deposit from the Adyvance Wallet, and adds the stock to the shop in one click once it reaches Nepal.

A seller who found a product online

Sends Adyvance photos, the quantity and the product link in a custom request, compares the quote with a target price, and asks for a better price before accepting.

A shop with its products in Excel

Saves the sheet as a CSV file, matches the columns, imports the rows that pass, and fixes only the few rows that came back in the error file.

Questions About Product Import

Straight answers about Product Import in Adyvance.

Ask us on WhatsApp
How can I import products from China to Nepal for my online shop?

Use the Import Marketplace in your Adyvance admin. Order a product from the wholesale catalogue, or send a custom request with photos and the quantity you need. Adyvance quotes the price, deposit and delivery days, buys the stock from the supplier and brings it to Nepal. You pay the deposit first, the rest on arrival, and follow each stage in My orders.

How do I buy from Alibaba or IndiaMART in Nepal?

Find the product on the supplier site, then send Adyvance a custom request in the Import Marketplace with photos, the quantity and the product link. Adyvance's team looks for a supplier and replies with a quote you can accept, question or cancel. Alibaba and IndiaMART are independent sites: Adyvance buys from suppliers on sites like these for you and is not affiliated with them.

What is the minimum order quantity on the Import Marketplace?

Each product sets its own minimum. The product card shows the minimum quantity, the price per piece and any bulk prices for larger quantities, so you see the total before you order. For a custom request you choose the quantity yourself, and Adyvance's quote tells you the price, the deposit and the expected delivery days.

How do I pay for stock imported from India or China?

You pay Adyvance in two parts: a deposit to confirm the order, and the rest when the goods reach Nepal. Pay from your Adyvance Wallet and the payment is confirmed at once, or pay Adyvance directly and upload the receipt or transaction ID for checking. Each payment appears in the order's history.

Can I negotiate wholesale prices on Adyvance?

Yes, on products marked Negotiable. Choose Make an offer, enter your price per piece and the quantity, and send it. Adyvance accepts, declines or replies with a counter-offer, and you can accept or counter again. Once an offer is accepted, you order at that price. Products marked Fixed price keep their listed price.

How do I import products from an Excel sheet to my online store?

Save the sheet as a CSV file and open Import and export in your Adyvance admin. Choose Products, pick the file and match its columns to fields such as title, price, SKU, stock and image link. Rows that share a group key become one product with sizes or colours. Adyvance checks every row before anything is saved.

What happens if some rows in my product spreadsheet have errors?

Nothing is saved until you start the import. Adyvance checks every row first and lists each problem by row and field. When the import finishes, download the rows with problems as a file, fix them and import the file again. Rows that were already imported are skipped, so nothing is added twice.
